Monterey-area locals are organizing a post-election gathering to commiserate about the election, build a community to prepare for what is expected to come next, and work together to bring about the change we want to see in our community and country.

This event is part of the national We Are Worth Fighting For events being organized by groups like Indivisible, MoveOn, and others. It is the first event for the relaunch of Indivisible Monterey.

Event Goals:

– Build relationships and strengthen community spirit for what’s ahead

– Give voice to our emotions in these times

– Share plans on what we want to offer each other going forward

 – Learn from past movements and history that can inform how we make meaning now
