Hello UUCMP Families,It’s been quite a week, month, year already.  We had a great turn out in Seaside Monday to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. It did feel good to be a part of so many people coming together to honor his legacy and celebrate his ideas and ideals.  
This past Sunday we had our monthly Committee on Family Ministry meeting – meeting minutes  will be sent out later this week.  I did ask the attendees to email me their priorities for the year ahead – if you would like to share your input please use the linked google form هنا.
This Sunday Warren Finch will be filling in for me as the DRE.  Our Nursery (6 months to age 5)  teachers will have a simple craft and snack along with free choice play activities in the nursery.    Elementary (ages 5-11) teachers will have an activity to continue thinking about the role of Story in our lives – as individuals and collective.  They will get a chance to play outside before we come in – and perhaps one of our children will want to read a story to the younger children in the nursery after our morning snack.  Our Teens and Tweens (12+) will stay upstairs as they begin their unit on Judaism.  Warmly,Shannon
