Buildings & Grounds Report to Program Council, May 5, 2026

The next UUCMP work party is being planned for some time within the next month.

Our windows and skylights will be washed later in May, and the carpets should be cleaned this month as well.

As we go back to one service on Sundays, we are working on new ways to arrange the chairs, both inside the sanctuary and out into the Welcome Hall.

The coffee service, Caring Network table, snacks and other tables in the Welcome Hall are also in new locations as we strive to make a comfortable, welcoming space for all. Additionally, we are looking into purchasing some new folding chairs to replace our most worn folding chairs. We are also adding several small round tall tables for use in the Welcome Hall and outdoor space during coffee hour so that folks can put down their cups or

treat plates as they chat after the service.

I plan to reach out to Al Shamble to ask if he is willing to help do touch up painting in the bathrooms and the sanctuary in the near future.

Brian recently repositioned one of several parking signposts and we will work on a couple of others that need to be redone very soon.
