After the service next Sunday, Jan 18, at 12:30, please join us for a talk with Elise Young, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Women Rising International, our shared offering recipient for this month. This global organization based in Washington, DC partners with women and youth organizations in Africa to advance leadership, education, reproductive health, and economic opportunity. Elise will share how the US government’s cancellation of foreign aid has impacted global women’s NGO’s, and how their partners are rising above to help their communities innovate development solutions. All are welcome.
