September 25, 2024 Kære UUCMP-familier, A big thank you to Nora and Anika’s parents, Alina and Jacob, for hosting our Fall Equinox bonfire at Asilomar State Beach last Saturday. It was a great turn out! Sunday, after the church service, a few of us met up at Gizdich Ranch to go apple picking and celebrate Jamie’s 8th birthday. It was quite crowded but delicious fun. Thank you Andrea, Amy and Jamie for the birthday pie! Happening This Sunday Morning: Teens and Tweens: This Sunday our teens continue Crossing Paths curriculum and will begin exploring the path of Christianity. We are delighted that Konny Murray will join our group as she and Case begin an overview on Christianity. Elementary Explorations: As the seasons change, we’re excited to focus on Inviting Nourishing Relationships this week. Our elementary grade students will deepen their connections with one another and the natural world. We’ll look for signs of fall on a nature walk and take a meditative moment to reflect on our favorite outdoor places. These activities will help us foster mindfulness and community as we explore together. Vuggestuen vil være åben med plads til, at vores yngste børn kan lege sikkert, mens de er under opsyn af Sunny og Leah. Dette er også et sted for dem med babyer i armene at hvile, skifte ble eller få et andet sæt hænder til at hjælpe. Amning kan udføres på ethvert sted, som en forælder er komfortabel med, men et privat plejerum er tilgængeligt, hvis det er nødvendigt - tjek venligst ind med Director of Religious Explorations (DRE) Shannon, hvis du har brug for hjælp til at finde et sted til at pleje eller passe dine børn. We will have all the tools for carving, and will show It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! Parents – Did you know RE Staff are at the building starting at 10:15am?
