Tuesday, May 2, 7 pm – 8:30 pm, in-person, Presentation and Book Discussion: The Crossroads of Social and Climate Justice by LaVerne McLeod.  Held at the Unitarian Universalist Church of the Monterey Peninsula, 490 Aguajito Road, Carmel.  LaVerne McLeod’s latest work is a non-fiction intersectional journey, merging the environment with social justice issues.  The book includes resources that can inspire career opportunities, stimulate community collaborations, open volunteer endeavors, and more.  An interactive dramatic presentation will depict how climate and social justice play out between different racial and socio-economic groups.  The book may be purchased HERE.
