May 27, 2026Hello RE Families!  Last week, since it was a holiday weekend, we had only a small group, so we all joined together in one classroom. We focused on the UU value of pluralism to remember that as UUs we respect different faiths and different ways of living good lives. We then talked about the hajj, the time when Muslims make their pilgrimage to Mecca. We talked about Mecca as a very special place for Muslims where during hajj (which began on Monday) they do rituals to focus on being good people. May 20, 2026Hello RE Families and Friends!  For the Holiday Weekend ahead we will have some flexibility of coming together to explore, learn and share time together.  Rebecca hopes the kids will have a chance to share a place that is special to your family as we learn about Hajj and the importance for Muslims to make the pilgrimage to Mecca.After the service will be our monthly Committee on Family Ministry meeting  from 11:45-12:45 in the Fireplace Room.  Please bring a dish to share so we can have lunch. April 8, 2026Dearest Gentle REaders,Last Sunday we had a wonderful turn out – many children attended including some visiting families during our first service.  We learned a bit about the story of Passover while our teens were working with RE teachers and volunteers to play the role of easter bunnies hiding eggs on the playground.  Children worked together to help one another find the eggs – about 25 eggs each.  The eggs were then EGGchanged for a variety of treats and small treasures.  Thank you to Rebecca Irwin who filled in for me as the DRE for the day and to our wonderful team of RE teachers and volunteers.This Sunday … RE Weekly News 4/8/26を読み続ける
