MULTI-GEN SERVICES

  • Multigenerational services are for all members of the congregation to take part in, and are offered several times throughout the year! Some of the MultiGen services we have done since we were virtual included:
  • Planting Peace: a service about RE, highlighting our children, Bridging seniors, teachers and volunteers.
  • Chalice Service: a service about our UU Chalice. Children of all ages submitted poetry and artwork for this service.
  • Our 2020 Silent Night Holiday Service: A beautiful and creative virtual pageant that told the story of the birth of Jesus, with the Kids Choir singing Silent Night in different languages during transitions.

KIDS CHOIR

Kids Choir meets once a week on Sundays at 10am before the church service over Zoom, and is led by our Music Director. It is open to children in 1st through 8th grades.

“Kids Choir is a fun place where I get to learn many new songs I never sang before. It is full of positivity and the people there are uplifting, It may get loud at times, but that’s ok! In short, Kids Choir is awesome!” – Estella, an active young attendee of Kid’s Choir

CHALICE LIGHTERS

The UUCMP also encourages children and families to light the chalice at the

beginning of our service. If your child would like to light the chalice, please

contact our Director of Religious Exploration, Sharyn Routh at dre.sharyn@uucmp.org for more information!

FIRST FRIDAY GAME NIGHT

On the first Friday of each month, children of all ages come together at the church to play a variety of games. Lately we have been playing the game Psych!, though we also have Trivia Night occasionally. Look for the zoom link in the Weekly, or contact the Director of Religious Exploration, Sharyn Routh at dre.sharyn@uucmp.org for more information and a personal invitation to our game!

VOLUNTEERS

Volunteers bring new energy and excitement to our classes, and are always

welcome! If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our Director of Religious Exploration, Sharyn Routh at dre.sharyn@uucmp.org
