Flower Communion

Rev. Axel Gehrmann and Worship Associate Sue Ellen Stringer

The Flower Communion is an annual tradition observed in countless UU congregations in the spring. On this Sunday, every worshipper is invited to bring a cut flower along to church. The flowers are placed in large baskets, and then distributed to all present. Though we will be worshipping from the comfort of our homes, we invite you to bring a flower, nevertheless, which you can share visually via your camera.

This morning’s service will include a Recognition of New Members who have joined the church in the past year. Our worship will be shorter than usual, and followed by our Annual Meeting. We encourage all our members to participate in this brief, but important gathering.
