Many of us are familiar with the Golden Rule of “do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” It turns out that this principle transcends theology and time, having appeared in some form in almost all of the world’s spiritual and religious traditions. This morning we will explore some of the Golden Rule’s emanations and expressions, and consider how it might guide our actions in a world that is in great need of care and healing.
