亲爱的 UUCMP 家庭，
Thank you to all who participated in our Committee on Family Ministry meeting last Sunday.  It was a great turn out and we shared many wonderful ideas and hopes for future RE programming – minutes from the meeting can be found here.  Our next meeting will take place after the Winter Pageant service, December 15.  More information to follow.
This Sunday we will be thinking about gratitude and the role it plays in our lives.  We will also hear a story about the First Thanksgiving from the perspective of the Wampanoag people and the animals and other living beings, the book is called Keepunumuk and was co-written by Alexis Bunten.  The teens will end their unit on Christianity with one more interview focused on the Quaker experience.  We will have a few crafts for the kids who feel the urge to create.  This Sunday is also Ms. Leah’s birthday – although she will not be here we will have a card to sign back in RE.

? Would your child like to light the chalice?The Chalice Lighting sign up sheet will be at the RE table with our coloring and quiet activity supplies.  Please be sure to sign your child up if they are interested.
Every Sunday we try to find a child or youth volunteer to light the chalice. It’s a fun way for kids to participate in the service. DRE Shannon can show kids how to do it before the service if it’s their first time or they need a reminder. See Shannon on Sunday morning if interested.   Sign Up at the RE Table!
?? VOLUNTEERS NEEDEDChurch members without little ones are encouraged to lend a hand so caregivers can have a chance to connect with our wonderful community.
