This Wednesday, February 1st, in celebration of Black History Month, Mel Mason former Presidential candidate, California Gubernatorial candidate, NAACP President Monterey chapter, and perhaps the only remaining Monterey County former Black Panther,
will be the keynote speaker at Lighthouse Cinemas in Pacific Grove, hosted by Black Leaders and Allies Collaborative.
This February, Black Leaders and Allies Collaborative (B.L.A.A.C.) is hosting a Free Community Movie Night EACH WEEK at Lighthouse Cinemas in Pacific Grove honoring Black History Month.
Every Wednesday, beginning February 1st, you are invited to show your support, but more importantly learn, share, and enjoy… (Doors open at 6 PM / Movie begins at 7 pm)

This week’s movie, “FBI Wars on Black America,” a documentary that explores the lives and deaths of people targeted by the US government’s COINTELPRO program,
an FBI-launched program aimed against organized efforts by African Americans to gain rights guaranteed by our constitution.
