It’s almost here! The grand finale of UUCMP’s Hope Springs Eternal 2021 Auction, featuring a live auction with hosts Karen Araujo & JT Mason and a an honest-to-goodness UUCMP Talent Show!  There will also be door prizes, but you need to be both present and registered on the Auction Website to get your name on the spinning wheel for a chance to win.  (Click here to register if you haven’t already.)  You don’t want to miss any of the action!  The party starts at 6:30PM, but Live Auction bidding won’t start until 7.

To attend, click here at 6:30PM on Saturday for the Zoom link that will take you to the party.  You’ll be able to watch the action (and see your friends) on Zoom, the same way you currently watch a Sunday Service.

To also bid on the Live Auction, you’ll need to have the Auction open in addition to the Zoom feed.  You can open it in another window on your computer, but it’s pretty fun to download the Auctria app on your phone or tablet.  That way it’s easy to watch the Zoom feed while you’re bidding. You can download the app from your device’s App Store (just search the app store for “Auctria”).  Once you have the app installed, log in and enter the Event ID “uucmp2021” (without the quotes) to tell it which auction you want to join.

Now if you’d like to enjoy a cocktail (or 2…) during the festivities, Kateyrae Brown will walk you through making the Spring Sunrise, the official cocktail of our Hope Springs Eternal Auction.  Don’t want to rush around looking for ingredients?  Prepare with some:

• Some rum (or other hard alcohol, wine, beer. or your favorite alcohol substitute)
• Something sparkly (7-Up/Sprite, sparkling water, sparkling wine, or similar)
• Some yellow or orange juice (OJ, pineapple juice, mango, or similar)
• Some red juice (pomegranate, cranberry, something dark and tangy)
• A lime
• A spoon
• Approximately 3-4 inch skewers of assorted fruit.
