UUCMP SUPER FLEA MARKET FUNDRAISER
SET UP WEDNESDAY – THURSDAY, AUGUST 30 AND 31, 9 AM – 7 PM
SALE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 1 AND 2, 9 AM – 1 PM

 

After three years of COVID precautions, we are happy to announce our Super Flea Market fundraiser will take place at UUCMP Friday and Saturday, September 1 and 2 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. with set up on Wednesday and Thursday, August 30 and 31 from 9 a.m. – 7 p.m.

Think of it as a real flea market inside UUCMP. You or a group of friends will bring your sale items Wednesday or Thursday to set up on tables and racks that we will provide. Each person or group will display and price their own items. Creativity with your display is encouraged. If you like, we can help you form a group. In each sale area, you or your group should agree on at least one person being on hand during the sale hours. All the money will go to UUCMP. What a great way to make a sizeable contribution! Remember, this is a flea market so price accordingly (generally $1 – $10 or more for really nice items). When it’s over, you or your group will take unsold items back to do whatever you wish with them.

We will do all the advertising and provide lunch for the volunteers and sellers each day. One group is organizing a bake-sale, and will need donations of baked goods. (See flier on page 11.) There is plenty of room. The possibilities are endless.

We will also need volunteers to be cashiers during the sale and extra help with clean up on Saturday.

WHAT CAN YOU SELL AT THE SUPER FLEA MARKET? Anything you can carry in and take home if it doesn’t sell.

Anyone is welcome to sell if they agree to give all of the proceeds to UUCMP. Sellers must register by August 27.
