As the Art Committee Chair, it’s been a pleasure to know that UUs love having art
on the walls and visitors coming to see the art love learning about our church and
Unitarian Universalism as a whole.

Now the time has come for me to step down and give this fulfilling role to the
next chair.

Thus, I am actively seeking a person who has an affinity for art, likes working with
artists and enjoys the process of bringing beauty to the church.

In the binder I have organized is a guide to procuring new artists, a list of artists
who have previously expressed interest in having a show with us, the forms
needed and helpful hints to make it a smooth process.

I will remain available to answer questions and offer guidance.

There is a wonderful group of committee members who assist in hanging the
shows and often with artist receptions.

Our next artist is showing through July 2023. Ideally, a new artist would have a
show beginning August 2023.
