This week in RE, we’ll be discussing intersectionality and continuing our bookmark weaving project. If your child would like to weave a bookmark (or a few!) but will not be attending RE, please email dre.sharyn@uucmp.org with yarn color preferences and we’ll make sure they get supplies. We’ll be selling these handmade bookmarks later this spring to benefit one of UUCMP’s shared offering organizations. 

Would your child like to light the chalice?

Every Sunday we try to find a child or youth volunteer to light the chalice. It’s a fun way for kids to participate in the service. Acting DRE Sharyn can show kids how to do it before the service if it’s their first time or they need a reminder. See Sharyn on Sunday morning if you’re interested.

Upcoming family-friendly events:

Please join us this Saturday (2/17) for some all-ages karaoke fun with a professional karaoke DJ, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at UUCMP. The $15 admission per family includes refreshments. We hope to see you there!
