RE this Week

This week in RE, we’ll continue our conversations about change and transformation, learn about Ramadan which starts on March 10, and continue working on weaving our bookmarks to sell later this spring to benefit Ohana (our shared offering recipient for May). 

RE Subs needed for April

Our amazing RE teacher, Rebecca Irwin, will be gone for the month of April, so we are looking for subs to help out with our all-ages RE class. Volunteers are welcome to either be the lead teacher and plan activities using our Soul Matters curriculum or be the 2nd adult in the classroom to help out with activities. A sign up sheet will be available in the Welcome Hall near the RE materials. This is a great opportunity to interact with our UUCMP kids for one or more Sundays! Upcoming family-friendly events:

• All ages are welcome at the UUCMP work party on Saturday, March 16th from 9:30-12. Get kids’ energy out and help beautify the UUCMP campus by pulling weeds and more! Snacks will be provided. Contact Lauren Keenan for more information (bill.lauren.keenan@gmail.com).

• Join UUCMP members and friends for the Monterey Bay FC soccer game on Sunday, March 24 at 3pm in Seaside. For more information, contact Acting DRE Sharyn.

• Save the date for our annual UUCMP Easter Egg Hunt on Sunday, March 31st during worship!
