RE Weekly Newsletter 6/4

RE this Week

Join us in RE this week with our special Story for All Ages guest reader, author Alexis Bunten. Older kids will be writing letters to elected officials and younger kids will make their own ribbon skirt or ribbon shirt on a paper template. Please join us for some fun and learning!

First Friday Game Night this Friday

Kick off your summer and Pride month with board games in the Fireplace Room on Friday at 6:30pm. In addition to the usual fun, we’ll have mini Pride flags you can take home. Join the UUCMP ministers and others for some Friday night fun before our game night takes a break for the summer. Bring your favorite games, snacks, and drinks to share, or just bring yourself. All ages are welcome!

Would your child like to light the chalice?

Every Sunday we try to find a child or youth volunteer to light the chalice. It’s a fun way for kids to participate in the service. DRE Sharyn or Shannon can show kids how to do it before the service if it’s their first time or they need a reminder. See Sharyn or Shannon on Sunday morning if interested.
