On this Father’s Day, we remember fathers we have known, and reflect on the ever-evolving meaning of fatherhood. We each have been shaped by our fathers, by their loving parenting and by their personal limitations, by their caring presence and their aching absence, by their hopes and fears. Fatherhood is a serious subject. However, exploring its many meanings may also benefit from a humorous perspective.
