“This Being Human is a Guesthouse”

In the opening line of his poem, 13th-century Persian poet Jalaluddin Rumi tells us that “This Being Human is a Guesthouse.” He invites us to embrace every emotion and experience as a guest, to be welcoming to whatever life brings to us.
