As I take my leave of you, my heart is full of warmth and wonderful memories of my time at UUCMP. It has been a joy to journey beside you, to get to know you and support your good works. 

Thank you for the wonderful gifts you gave me last Sunday – the beautiful chalice necklace, the generous check, the delightful octopus bag, and, best of all, your kind words and well wishes. I feel truly blessed!

The UU Ministers Association guidelines state that departing ministers should have no intentional contact with congregants or staff for at least a year after leaving. It won’t be easy, but I will respect that guideline and ask that you do, too. In the meantime, I’ll carry you in my heart.
