Book Discussion: “Regeneration: Ending the Climate Crisis in One Generation” by Paul Hawken

Dates: 2nd and 4th Tuesdays (May 3 – May 24)Time: 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. via Zoom
Rev. Elaine will be leading a four-session discussion of Paul Hawken’s book, “Regeneration:  Ending the Climate Crisis in One Generation” which was published last year, and favorably reviewed. The SF Chronicle said it is a “rational, pragmatic and well-researched clarion call. It’s a catalog of best practices for regeneration”… covering “an impressively broad range of topics from food safety to the war industry, electric vehicles to mangroves, which serves to demonstrate how all-encompassing the challenge is. But it’s prescriptive, too, featuring reasoned calls to action from writers, activists, scientists and numerous other experts.”
Please acquire a copy of the book and read the second three sections (pp 95-169) for our second virtual session, on April 26.
