Save the date! June 3rd UUCMP Garden Tour

The UUCMP Soil Mates Group wants to remind you that you still have a once in a lifetime opportunity to visit three spectacularly unique gardens and indulge in tasty bites on June 3rd. This auction donation also demonstrates your support of our UUCMP community.

Please join us Saturday morning, June 3, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. to enjoy the Spring color in our gardens. We will be highlighting a variety of gardening techniques – native plants, roses, container gardens, fruit trees, raised beds, vegetables and DIY gray water installation. We expect a profusion of flowers, fragrance and birdsong, especially after the abundance of rain we have received this year.

We hope you will ask questions and gain insights as you explore the myriad possibilities for personal joy in your own garden space, no matter the size or where you live.

No worries if you don’t yet have a ticket to this Service Auction experience. You can still join us by contacting Kathleen Craig, kathleen@craigdesignassociates.com, by May 27 (the week before the event) and then make a donation to UUCMP, on a sliding scale with a value of $30.

At each stop on the tour, you will be offered culinary treats to excite your other senses!

Garden 1 features a native habitat of wildflowers, water features and bird feeding stations.

Garden 2 has a variety of landscape styles on a three-acre eclectic plot, featuring native plants, a cottage garden, and a wildflower meadow.

Garden 3 is packed with flowers and edibles of many kinds. You can see the 2-story rose wall and the orchard in the repurposed lawn.

Refreshments served as you tour.
